The DPP in the North has launched an independent review of 3 cases involving sex abuse and terrorist related charges.

Barra McGrory announced the review this morning following a number of issues raised by Maria Cahill in the recent BBC Spotlight programme.

She says the IRA covered up and failed to report her alleged rape and sexual assault by a leading Republican.

The DPP says the review will examine serious sexual abuse and terrorist related charges and involving multiple complainants and multiple defendants.
