A female cyclist has died following a road traffic collision in Kerry.
It happened on the Killarney bypass Wednesday evening at around 7.00pm.
The cyclist aged in her 40s was in collision with a tractor, which was towing agricultural equipment.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor was uninjured.
The road is closed to traffic and local diversions are in place while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examine the scene.
The local coroner has been notified.
Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
