The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has been confronted by a small protest on the campaign trail in Co Wicklow.
Up to a dozen protestors shouted at Mr Kenny as he arrived in the town.
After visiting the campaign office of Andrew Doyle, the Fine Gael leader then defied the protestors and went on a short walkabout on the streets.

It comes as the latest gangland killing in Dublin is dominating the general election campaign.
Enda Kenny and Joan Burton have promised gardaí whatever resources they want to tackle gangland criminals.
But Fianna Fáil say the force has been starved of resources, and Sinn Féin is sticking to its plan to abolish the Special Criminal Court.
The murder of Eddie Hutch so soon after David Byrne has led to fears of an all out war among gangland figures in Dublin.
Campaigning in Wexford, Taoiseach Enda Kenny admitted the situation cannot be tolerated and gardaí would get whatever they need.
That is a position backed by Labour leader Joan Burton - and Dublin Central candidate Joe Costello wants even more help.
But Fianna Fáil says rank and file gardaí feel starved of resources, despite assurances from the Commissioner they have all they need.
While Renua has compared Ireland to Mexico in the wake of the gangland killings.
Elsewhere the Anti Austerity Alliance has attacked Sinn Féin saying they are deepening divisions in the North.
The Greens are still calling for their inclusion in the first TV debate of the campaign next week.
