A Cityjet flight from Dublin to London was forced to return to Dublin Airport this morning shortly after taking off.

The company say it was because of a technical issue with the windscreen of the plane.

Around 90 people were on board at the time, and they will be accommodated on other flights.

Cityjet has apologised for the inconvenience to passengers, but said that safety is king in these matters.
