The Criminal Assets Bureau has carried out a series of searches across three counties as part of an investigation into a Cabra-based organised crime gang.
24 searches took place this morning, with the assistance of gardaí including the Armed Support Unit.
Searches took place in Cabra, Finglas and Monkstown in Dublin, as well as Leixlip in Co Kildare and Courtown & Gorey in Co Wexford.
Homes and officers were searched, with officers discovering a 'large amount' of documents and evidence that is believed to be related to the proceeds of crime.
At a house in Finglas, cocaine worth an estimated €3,500 was discovered.
A 37-year-old man was arrested, and is being held at Finglas Garda Station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Today's operation is said to be ongoing this lunchtime.
