Daley Blind got a crucial late equaliser for Man United as the Reds played out a 2 - 2 draw at West Brom tonight.

The Dutch international collected a clearance at the edge of the West Brom box on 87 minutes and fired a precise shot past Boaz Myhill in the Baggies goal.

A brilliant 8th minute strike from Stephane Sessegnon gave the home side a narrow lead at the Hawthorns.

The attacking midfielder scored with a stunning right-footed shot from outside the penalty area after a sweeping counter-attack down the right flank by full-back Andre Wisdom.

United struggled to break down a disciplined West Brom side during the opening-half, with their two best chances falling to Robin Van Persie.

But on both occasions the Dutch striker shot straight at the Baggies goalkeeper when through on goal.

However, substitute Marouane Fellaini put Man United on level terms in the second half after chesting down the ball and smashing the ball past Boaz Myhill.

But West Brom got in front again when Saido Berahino's run split the Man United centre-halves and the England U21 striker slotted past David De Gea.

The Baggies were heading towards victory when Blind fired in from outside the box.
