Appeal after man dies following collision in south Dublin

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Dublin.

A man aged in his late 20s was killed in the single car collision at around 7.00am on Sunday.

It happened on the Adelaide Road in Glenageary.

The driver of the car, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Garda forensic collision investigators are examining the area and the road is closed to traffic.

Local diversions are in place.
