New WBO Middleweight champion Andy Lee has opened up about a dream title defence at Thomond Park next year.

The Limerick boxer beat Matt Korobov in Las Vegas on Saturday to claim his first world title and upon his return home, he has suggested that a fight on Munster rugby's home patch could be a possibility as his trainer Adam Booth plans for 2015.

"Adam is already on the ball, making plans for maybe Thomond Park in the summer which would be another dream come true. We'll see. Hopefully that can be arranged," said Lee.

The 30-year-old arrived back on Irish soil earlier via Shannon Airport.

The new WBO middleweight champion is being honoured with a civic and public reception at Limerick City Hall today.

Lee spoke about his dream title win on Off The Ball on Monday and you can listen back to that interview right here.
