Two suspects have spent a woof night in custody in north Dublin after chasing a man on a bike.

The noisy howlers were arrested Sunday in the Finglas area of the city.

The two were thought to be hatching a plan while under surveillance.

But gardaí say they remained at the station until collected by the Dublin Dog Pound.

Reports say they have since been reunited with their owner.
