Noirin O'Sullivan wants a probe into claims senior officers deceived the commission

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has corrected the Dáil record as requested to do so by Alan Shatter.
Mr Kenny did so in statements on the O'Higgins Commission.
Meanwhile, Tánaiste Frances Fitzgerald has expressed full confidence in the Garda Commissioner Noirín O'Sullivan.
It follows a fresh statement from Ms O'Sullivan - stating her lawyers were not instructed to accuse garda whistleblower Sergeant Maurice McCabe of malice.
Mr Kenny had been requested by Mr Shatter to state the former minister did not accept responsibility when resigning for the findings in the Guerin Report.
But the Taoiseach says he cannot deal with other issues in Mr Shatter's open letter because of ongoing court actions.
Earlier today the Garda Commissioner Noirín O'Sullivan issued a second statement on the O'Higgins Commission report.
She insisted lawyers were not told to impugn the integrity of Maurice McCabe, or accuse him of malice.
However Ms O'Sullivan defended the decision to cross-examine his testimony, and that of any witness.
In the Dáil, Tánaiste and Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald called it a "genuine attempt" to clear up the controversy.
She also said she was consulting with the Attorney-General about how to ask GSOC to launch a public interest investigation into the behaviour of two senior officers who met with Sergeant McCabe in 2008.
