A 13 year-old boy accused of stabbing an Irish man to death in north London after an alleged row has been remanded in custody. He's due before the Old Bailey on Friday.

Four other boys arrested over the incident - who are all 13 and 14 - are out on bail.

Christopher John Barry, who was originally from Cork, but had lived in London for many years, was stabbed in Edmonton on Sunday night.

The 53 year-old is understood to have gotten into an altercation with a number of youths as he was trying enter the apartment building where he lived.

He died from a stab wound to the chest.

Police arrested a number of teenagers after the attack.
